Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the Freestyle Jam?
- The Freestyle Jam is a collaborative display of freestyle arts that focus on human movement. Basically, tricks. Thinking differently about how you can move your body and/or an object. A lot of these "freestyles" are not as known as some bigger activities and sports, so this Jam is about sharing them with the public through demonstrations performed by some of the best in the North West, then hosting workshops to share these arts with anybody interested and getting them started. Check out the schedule to find out when these demonstrations and workshops are happening.
- How long has the Freestyle Jam been going on?
- This is the fifth year. It was hosted in the University of Montana's Oval for the first two years and has been in Caras Park ever since.
- How can I help?
Attend the workshops. Help these sports grow!!
Also, advertisements, performer costs, and venue costs all add up really quick. Any donations would be incredibly appreciated
Any amount is appreciated. If you are not sure what would be a good amount, we suggest $20.
